Photo Stream Assistant overview
Photo Stream Assistant is a Mac app for people whose Flickr library has outgrown the website. It signs in with your own Flickr API key, runs on your Mac and keeps nothing on a server.
What it does:
- Edit titles, tags, dates, privacy and location on hundreds of photos at once.
- Rename or merge a tag across the whole library in one step.
- File photos into several albums at once, and send them to groups within each group's limits.
- Back up the library to a folder on your Mac.
- Read your stats: where views come from and which photos lead (Insights needs Flickr Pro).
- Find untitled, untagged or unplaced photos, and photos in no album.
- Browse albums, collections, galleries, groups, favorites, your contacts' feed and Explore, and see geotagged photos on a map.
- Get tag and title suggestions made on the Mac itself.
- Upload photos from the Mac, and download any photo or a whole selection.
What's new in version 1.6.4
- After Discover, the sidebar now lists My library, then Organise, then Overview, and each section folds away when you click its name; the app remembers the ones you folded. And Settings has a new choice, "My Photos opens on": Everything, Public or Not public. The tabs at the top of My Photos still switch between them.
